Description/Blazon
On a gold metal device 1 1/8 inches (2.86 cm) in height consisting of a blue and red pentagon divided by a lightning flash from upper left to lower right overall a purple dragon in a frontal rising position wings displayed tail curved point to right attached below the pentagon a purple scroll doubled base metal folded five times with the center fold inscribed "FRONS CURSOR" in gold letters.

Symbolism
The pentagon is a symbol of the military establishment and the five points represent the elements of Information Operations:  operation security, electronic warfare, military information support to operations, computer network operations and military deception.  Blue stands for intelligence and red for determination.  The lightning flash signifies speed.  The purple dragon, a blend of the blue and red mixed, signifies courage.  The dragon is rising indicating the will to go above and beyond.  The motto translates to "Front Runners."

The distinctive unit insignia was approved on 30 September 2010.

That for the regiments and separate battalions of the Army Reserve:  From a wreath Or and Azure, the Lexington Minute Man Proper.  The statue of the Minute Man, Captain John Parker (H.H. Kitson, sculptor), stands on the common in Lexington, Massachusetts.
